I am a wood turner and member of the Register of Professional Turners  -  https://www.registerofprofessionalturners.co.uk

Generally I only offer one to one tuition (but am am happy to make exceptions forpartners/close friends happy to share the workshop). 

All courses are bespoke and tailored to the individual requirements of the student according to their abilities. 

I regularly run taster sessions for complete novices, which can be of either a half day or full day.

My over arching aim is to ensure my students enjoy themselves in a safe and friendly environment.

WORKSHOPS

All work is carried out in the workshop where all materials, tools and protective equipment is included. 

Tea and coffee are available and for full day courses, a light lunch is provided. 

For those looking to take up turning as a hobby, I can provide advice on setting up a workshop and offer continuation training.

I offer both taster sessions and continuation training at £200 per day and £100 for a half day. 

The courses are bespoke and I discuss the course content with each student before we start to ensure they get the best out of each session.

Coombe is a tiny hamlet situated between Netheravon and Enford in the Avon Valley approximately 6 miles North of Amesbury. We are the very first house on Coombe Lane entered through double 5 bared gates. Please be aware that most SatNavs will direct you to the far end of the lane and onto Salisbury Plain.
